The George Weekend Break
Located in the centre of Rye, East Sussex, the hotel was recently renovated to create one of the most stunning hideaways on the south coast. The period features have been lovingly restored and the low-beamed ceilings, panelled walls and grand fireplace in the lounge create a warm and inviting space to relax.
There are 24 individually designed bedrooms upstairs, each filled with sumptuous bed linen and fluffy pillows, while the luxurious bathrooms feature marble-top baths, chrome power showers and Aveda products.
The hotel bar and restaurant on the ground floor are popular. Head chef Rod Grossmann once worked at Moro in London, and his Mediterranean-inspired menus offer fresh seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and seafood from Rye Bay.

- Rye itself is unlike any other town in England. A medieval townscape locked in time and with a fascinating history, it offers a great escape for relaxation or romance. Four miles from the white beach of Camber Sands the sea air is wonderful any time of year.

Classic car can be collected on the way through to Rye, garaging your car at Lamberhurst.
Alternatively, to deliver to, and collect from Rye would cost a further £58.75 each way.

This hotel doesn't have a car park but it is generally ok to park on the street outside the hotel for evenings and nights.
There are also two car parks fairly nearby:
The nearest has rates of 0-1 hour 70p, 1-2 hours £1.50, 2-4 hours £3.00 over 4 hours £5.00.
The other car park is at a single rate of £1. Times are between 8.30 and 18.00 hours.

Rye is very popular at weekends, so they are only happy to offer bed and breakfast rates for the weekend and dinner bed and breakfast for the rest of the week. We have two price ranges A and B, while the George has three rates, so below are a few tables.
Weekend Rates
The combined rates for weekend, two nights (Friday and Saturday) bed and breakfast only, with customers collecting the car Friday, leaving your car with me, and driving onto Rye, and then returning the car to me on your way home on the Sunday afternoon/evening.
